Are clots normal with a heavy period during the 1st three days? - heavy clotting during periodexcessive blood loss

I feel very bad cramps and heavy bleeding and large clots for the 1st three days of my period. Is this normal, and no one had it? I do not take the pill and never had a child. Bad cramps, heavy bleeding and blood clots occur each month. Please help!
